My least favourite of the series. Still a great game but suffers from an identity crisis and can't work out what game it wants to be.
After Jak 2, I was unsure if I would enjoy this but was pleasantly surprised. The new driving element was great if not a bit short. Shame half the game is just retreading old areas from Jak 2.
Still one of the best MD games by miles! Even after 20+ years it still holds up and is just as playable as it was back in the day.
I actually really enjoyed this. Definitely not deserving of the bad rep it got. a solid varied campaign with some nice levels that reminded me more of Rainbow 6 than COD.
Awful cast & story aside, this is a great game & a vast improvement on the original
Without question my game of 2016! Takes everything that makes Minecraft great and mashes it with the Dragon Quest series into an RPG with great story, characters & gameplay.
The great story & characters do a great job of pulling you into the Dragon Quest universe. If it wasn't for the constant time wasting & filler, this would have been a fantastic RPG!
Not a bad game but more of an interactive movie. High quality cutscenes with little or no actual gameplay make for a short & underwhelming experience.
Surprisingly good fun & quite tricky at times. The only thing that lets it down is the repetitive movie studio level.
Another great addition to the series. It's nice to return to this beautiful city of Vice again.
Although short, this is a coin guzzler from beginning to end. If I was playing this in the arcades it would have cost me hundreds to finish.
One of my top 3 games of 2016. A lesson in how couch Co-op should be done. I cannot sing this games praises enough. Buy it!!!
It's taken over 10 years but I finally finished it. Still a fantastic game, even though the second half of the game just turns into a really weak shooter with awful controls.
More of a showcase game than a full title. One of the most Graphically amazing games on the machine so far, but the gameplay falls short & runs out of ideas after about 4 levels.
Another one from my unfinished list. Still as good and still as difficult at times. Although it does get a bit repetitive, it's still full of the trademark Rare humour that makes them great
I love this game to pieces & it's still as good as it was when I first played it 20+ years ago.
I've played through this game so many times and it never gets old. The only Starfox game worth playing and miles better than that shoddy Platinum Games remake on the Wii U.
I went into this game with my Nostalgia Goggles on and was bitterly disappointed. this has not aged well and was not as good as I remember it from when I was a nipper.
I overlooked this game back in the day but I wish I hadn't. In my opinion one of the best games on the N64. My only gripes are the awkward controls & being forced to constantly redo missions
I haven't played the original Alan Wake yet, but after playing this I definitely will be adding that to this years 52. A solid little game with some interesting ideas. Shame you have to retread the levels 3 times
This is probably the best entry in the Forza series.I prefer Arcade style racers over simulators. It's major flaw is the microtransactions. I prefer to just play the game, even if it is a grind
This game was a joy to play from beginning to end. Originally given away free with Xbox gold, but I will be buying a physical copy of this for my collection. I highly recommend it if you love RPG's
A cheap and cheerful steampunk inspired twin stick shooter with boats. A great game with great level design & some epic battles. My only criticism is the Boss battles are a bit tedious.
I don't really need to say much about this. It's Halo, Just shinier.
Not a bad little racer, it's a cut & paste combat racer with over 40 vehicles to choose from. Shame they expect you to grind the game for hours to unlock them.
Absolutely fantastic game! A true old school platformer that tests your skills to the limit. I cannot recommend it enough.
A standard bullet-hell shooter best played in Co-op. The 1st 3 zones are quite samey, but the introduction of space levels was awesome.
This game is fantastic! Apart from the isometric view, this is a 99% rip off of Zelda Windwaker and It doesn't try to hide that fact.
More of an interactive movie than a game. incredibly short but satisfying QTE's that need good memory & fast reflexes to conquer.
Wow! the quality of the remastered cinematics blew me away and the levels look amazing. however the game is still too long & bland thanks to the repetitive Arbiter missions.
An improvement over Halo 2 but still suffers with some of the same issues. The last few levels feel more like a chore than a game and the story jumps all over the place.
If it hadn't been for the shoddy combat & awkward camera, I could have loved this game. The story, cutscenes, acting, character & level designs are great, but it's spoilt by the poor execution of the combat.
A poor mans Rainbow Six, but still very good with a nice variety of missions & the shooting works. However the story is a bit weak and the voice acting has to be one of the worst i've ever heard.
Another one chosen with nostalgia goggles on. My fond memories of the arcades were not relived when I played thisthanks to the dull bland level designs & the coin guzzler boss fights
Definitely my worst one of the series. 343 tried to change too much and we ended up with COD style shooting, bland samey levels & forgettable enemies that makes you miss the Flood.
I'm not going to even bother going into why this game was a letdown. There is a reason why this was given away free with Xbox Gold.
This isn't a bad remake, but the original is still way better. The last chapter really ruined the pace of the game, full of bullet sponge enemies cheap deaths. worth a try if you can get it cheap.
Another Classic RARE Platformer that stands up to the test of time. A joy to play from beginning to end, although the Grunty fight at the end was hard as nails.
This game was way better than I expected. so well written and the voice acting is spot on. A thrill ride of nostalgia all the way through except for The final graveyard chapter which felt rushed & mediocre
This series has a bad rep but I really like this game. although the story is quite generic, the level designs do a good job of pulling you in.
Much better than I had expected. the story, characters & variety of missions make a fresh change from the usual hand holding FPS games on the 360.
I don't really have to say much about this. It's the Sims, just on a console instead with a story mode which is a welcome addition. All Sims wishes met & every location unlocked
A good old fashioned no frills shooter. giant bugs & robots vs rockets & tanks, what more do you need? Apart from the awful final boss fight, this is a fantastic addition to the series
not much needs to be said about this really. it's the saturn version with a few new game modes thrown in. although, looks amazing when played through the Xbox One
I've owned the Sega Saturn copy for nearly 10 years but had never played it. no idea why but I regret not trying this sooner. An absolute gem of a game with a great story & characters
If you can look past the awful combat & the inconsistant difficulty, this is actually quite a solid game. An engaging story with characters you grow to like & care about by the end
This was my 3rd attempt at trying this game, and I still can't see the appeal. It's football with cars, the online is where it excels though, but teamwork is non existant at times.
still as great as I remember back in the SNES days, but I remember it being harder then. The levels are really short and I finished it in about 2 days. Still one of the best platformers on the SNES by miles
Everything you could want in a golf game plus more.Has all the charm of previous Everybody's Golf games with plenty of game modes both on & offline. Also.....it has fishing!!!
I was pleasantly surprised by this game. it's just a cheaper version of Dead Island, but set in London. the story is generic & full of plot holes, but the recreation of iconic London landmarks is well done
I got this game free with PS+, but I would have happily paid for it. It's so well put together & the old school throwbacks to classic B-Movies is fantastic. I can't recommend this game enough
I loved the 1st Costume Quest, and the 2nd one didn't disappoint. great outfits, locations & humour help to draw you in. Sadly it's a bit too easy & only takes about 8hrs to 100%
